Basilica of the National Shrine of Saint Ann Father Peter Grace, C.P.
Father Peter Grace is a Passionist Priest from Saint Ann's Basilica in Scranton,
Pennsylvania. He was born in New York City in 1944, professed his vows as a Passionist in
1965, received a Masters Degree in Theology from Saint John's University, N.Y., in 1971,
and was ordained a priest in 1972. He served at Cardinal Spellman Retreat House, NY and
St. Gabriel's Youth House from 1972 to 1982. He preached parish missions and retreats from
1982 to 1985 when he went to Cochin, India to train Indian Passionists Seminarians. From
1985 to 1990 he assisted in the training of the Indian Passionist in East Africa and
established the Passionist Mission of Arusha, Tanzania. From 1991 to 2001 he was
Director of St. Ann's Media in Scranton, Pennsylvania. St. Ann's Media produces
"Saint Ann's Novena" as well as "The Celebration of the Mass" and
"The Daily Mass" for the Odyssey channel, a national interfaith satellite TV
Network available to 26 million homes.
