The Reverend Jack Rainaldo, S.J., is currently the National Director of
the Apostleship of Prayer-Sacred Heart Devotion for the United States and Coordinator of
Upper Canada and the English speaking islands of the Caribbean area. Born in Hurley, WI.
He attended Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI from 1947 to 1951. After leaving the
university he entered the Society of Jesus, Florissant, MO, 1961-1965 Theology, St. Mary's
College, St. Mary's, KS. He was Ordained to Priesthood, June 16, 1964. From 1965 to 1966
Tertianship (last year of training), Decatur, IL, 1967 Director of Jesuit Community,
Creighton Prep, Omaha, NE, President of Creighton Prep High School.Between the years 1974
and 1977 he worked on directed retreats for Priests, Sisters, Lay Persons; High School and
College Retreats; Weekend Retreats for Lay Persons; Preached Retreats for Priests/Sisters.
This variety of retreat work was done mostly in the Mid-West. Servant Minister to the
Priests of the Archdiocese of Omaha, NE, Spiritual Director, Confessor, and Counselor to
the Priests of the Archdiocese of Omaha, NE from 1977 to 1981. He was Director of Jesuit
Retreat House, Oshkosh, WI, 1983 to 1990. Since 1966 he has given numerous adult
(men/women/college/high school) conference type retreats.
